Wagner goes wild as Chargers go 4-0 at St. Louis Tournament

ST. LOUIS — Led by a huge weekend from Taylor Wagner, the Sandburg volleyball team went unbeaten in four matches at the St. Louis Tournament on Saturday and Sunday.

With the victories, the Chargers (15-3) improved to 14-0 in tournaments this season and have dropped just six sets in those contests.

Wagner had double-digit kills in each match over the weekend, including 30 in a five-set win Saturday against Southwestern Illinois to open the tournament. The sophomore outside hitter finished with 73 kills (5.2 per set) and a .396 hitting percentage.
