Sandburg men’s soccer’s De la Fuente, Garcia selected to All-Region 4 Team The Sandburg men’s soccer team’s top two goal scorers were voted to the All-Region 4 Division II Team. Sophomore forward Rodrigo De la Fuente was selected as first-team all-region, and coaches voted Chargers freshman forward Luis Garcia to the second team.

No. 19 Chargers upset by Trojans in 1st round of Region 4 tourney A fantastic season for the Sandburg men’s soccer team ended in frustrating fashion Thursday as the No. 19 Chargers were upset 4-0 by Triton at Kleine Field in the first round of the Region 4 Division II tournament.

Nationally ranked Chargers host Triton on Halloween to open Region 4 tourney The Chargers (11-2-3), who appeared at No. 19 in the NJCAA Division II rankings Monday afternoon, will host Triton in the first round of the Region 4 Division II tournament at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Kleine Field.
