Athletic Communications at Carl Sandburg College provides the media and the public with current information regarding our varsity teams to generate understanding, promotion, and support for the athletic department.

INTERVIEW PROCEDURES

Interviews with Carl Sandburg College coaches and student-athletes are encouraged, and every effort will be made to accommodate media requests. Advanced notice will help ensure that your request will be handled efficiently. Players may not be interviewed on game day once they enter the locker room or athletic training room. All requests for interviews of any student-athlete or coach must be made through Aaron Frey afrey@sandburg.edu

PHOTO REQUESTS

Athletic Communications regularly posts albums to the Carl Sandburg College Flickr page with limited rights reserved. Other high-resolution head shots of coaches and student-athletes can be provided upon request. Contact Bill Gaither bgaither@sandburg.edu

LIVE EVENT COVERAGE

Coverage of Carl Sandburg College athletic events is encouraged and every effort will be made to accommodate media outlets and visiting communication staffers. Please contact us at least 24 hours prior to the event to arrange seating and other necessities related to coverage.

POSTGAME REPORTS

If your institution is visiting Carl Sandburg College for a sporting event, Athletic Communications will gladly distribute the game news release to your athletic communications staff and your local media. Please contact Aaron Frey afrey@sandburg.edu prior to the event with a list of postgame media outlets you would like emailed.
