Bio

Gail Hannam first joined the Chargers women's golf program as an assistant in the 2015-16 season and became head coach in the spring of 2020.

Hannam guided Sandburg to a dominant showing in winning its first Region IV championship in 2022. The Chargers won the region tournament by a whopping 188 shots and had four of the five members on the All-Region IV team. Sandburg went on to finish 15th at the NJCAA Division I Women's Golf Championship.

Hannam also serves as president of the Galesburg Women's All-City golf tournament and is on the board of directors for the Illinois Women's Golf Association. She played collegiately at the University of Illinois and continues to play competitive golf both locally and at the state level.
