Nagel Adds to Team Lead With 10th Homer of Season at Bobcats

WEST ALLIS, Wis. — Maleaha Nagel clubbed her team-leading 10th home run of the season in Game 1, but the Carl Sandburg College softball team dropped both games of a doubleheader at Bryant & Stratton on Thursday afternoon.

KEY MOMENT
The Chargers trailed just 3-2 after Nagel's two-run home run in the fourth inning, but the Bobcats erupted for 10 runs in the fifth to end the contest early.

SANDBURG STANDOUT
Nagel walked in addition to her two-run blast. In addition to leading the team in longballs, the freshman first baseman has driven in 43 on the year, also tops on the squad.

KEY MOMENT
The Bobcats' first five batters reached of the game reached on hits and came around to score in a five-run opening frame.

SANDBURG STANDOUT
Second baseman Emma Wolfe went had two of the Chargers' three hits in the contest. She singled twice in three at-bats and stole a base.
