Chargers Drop 2 on Road to WolfPack

MADISON, Wisc. — The Carl Sandburg College softball team dropped a pair of nonconference games Saturday at Madison.

Key Moment
First-inning RBI singles by Kayla Wolf (Chillicothe, Ill./Illinois Valley Central) and Riley Creasey (Macomb, Ill./Macomb) gave the Chargers a 2-0 lead that they held on to before the WolfPack tallied three in the third. A pair of Sandburg (13-19) errors led to all three runs in the inning.

Sandburg Standout
Emma Wolfe (Dunlap, Ill./Dunlap) was the only Charger with multiple hits, going 2 for 3 with a double and a run scored.
