Chargers Start Season Against Warhawks, Pirates

PENSACOLA, Fla. — Facing some stiff competition that had already played several games this spring, the Carl Sandburg College softball team opened its season Sunday and Monday with doubleheader losses at Coastal Alabama-East and nationally ranked Pensacola State.

Chelsey Catton (Pekin, Ill./Pekin) delivered the Chargers' lone run with an RBI double in the second that plated Gabby Blanchard (South Pekin, Ill./Pekin).
