DuBois Dazzles With 31 Points at Madison in Chargers’ 4th Straight Victory

MADISON, Wis. — Jack DuBois put on a near-perfect shooting performance Saturday at Madison, scoring 31 points for the Carl Sandburg College men's basketball team in an 84-68 win as the Chargers won their fourth straight game.

DuBois, whose previous season high was 14 points in his collegiate debut, finished 14 of 16 from the field Saturday against the WolfPack and went 3 for 3 from 3-point range. The freshman scored 20 of his points in the first half as the Chargers (4-4) built a 42-23 lead.

DuBois' big day helped Sandburg shoot 67 percent (32 of 48) from the floor for the game and 62 percent (8 of 13) from long distance.

Jeremiah Babers added 13 points for his first double-digit outing as a Charger. The sophomore point guard also handed out six assists.

Koen Derry added a dozen points and pulled in a team-best six rebounds for Sandburg. Roee Dinnar hit a pair of 3s and finished with 10 points off the bench.

Deante Luster scored 16 to lead three Madison players in double figures.
