95 Chargers on Dean’s List, Honors List for 2022 Fall Semester

GALESBURG — Carl Sandburg College had 95 student-athletes who earned spots on the dean's list or honors list during the 2022 fall semester.

To qualify for the dean's list, a student must be enrolled full-time (at least 12 credit hours) and earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale). To qualify for the honors list, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a grade point average of 3.0 to 3.49.

There were 58 Chargers who qualified for the dean's list, while 37 earned their way onto the honors list. All 95 Sandburg student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.0 GPA last fall will be recognized at halftime of the men's basketball game Feb. 7 against Black Hawk.

That evening also serves as Sandburg's Paint the House Red Night. The first 100 fans will receive a free bag of popcorn, and contests will take place at halftime of both basketball games. The women's game against the Braves will tip off at 5:30 p.m., with the men's game scheduled to follow at 7:30 p.m.
